The Old Fashioned 10 miler and Flat 5K in Foxborough on February 18, 2007 was the first race that I chose to do on my own without Glenda either running the race as well, or cheering me on. With a time of 44:41, I came in dead last on the 5K course (which was flat as advertised, but also snowy!). I didn’t care, because it was still a PR.
