November 3, 2012, Indiana became state #17 when Glenda and I ran the Indianapolis Monumental Half Marathon in 3:25:44 (10 minutes faster than my last half!) This race was especially important because I was injured when training to do the full marathon here a few years ago…and I needed to go back and run here. Unfinished business…now finished.
Also had a first…running in freezing rain! (Dang those little ice pellets sting!)
