State #21, Utah, happened on a whim. Glenda and I wanted to escape the Texas heat so we went to Utah and I ran the Utah Valley 10K on June 8, 2013. It was not a PR, but at 1:22:27 it was only 2 minutes off. Best of all I met some new people who have become friends.
