Rhode Island

Super 5K run on  February 4, 2007 in Narragansett was the first race I ran when I moved to Rhode Island.  It was the first with my new running group the Narragansett Running Association (NRA) whose somewhat unofficial motto I still love– “You can have my running shoes when you pry them from my cold dead feet.” At 44:52 it was the first time I broke 45 minutes…and at the time it was also the coldest run I’d ever done, with a windchill of 8 degrees
