The Zoo Run Run on September 21, 2008 in Madison was the first 5K that I ran without walking. My official time was 43:30. Glenda ran it with me and Josh, Ro and my Mom walked it.

2022
This year started off rough, in early January I was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma. In early February I had emergency surgery for an arterial blood clot in my left leg. I thought I might be done with athletic stuff…but instead I pivoted to shorter and less competitive events for the time being.
