August 18, 2012, I added state #14 by running the Prevent Child Abuse Vermont 5K run in Montpelier, VT. This race was an add on to a fund-raising walk and was arguably the smallest race I have ever done with about 20 participants. The day was beautiful and COOL compared to Texas. I was the “penultimate” finisher at 43:22, which was faster than I’d hoped for!!
